Whitebox Property Group is set to deliver 62 new affordable houses in Waterford after approval has been received by the Department for Housing.
A total of 119, 3 and 4-bed affordable houses are set to be delivered by Whitebox Property Group alongside Frisby Homes in three separate locations across Waterford City – Kilbarry, Deerpark, & Mountneil.
Construction on these projects is set to commence once contracts are agreed upon and finalised with Waterford City and County Council.

Whitebox Group is delighted to have worked extensively on the delivery of these affordable houses with Senator John Cummins who continues to liaise with Waterford City and County Council and governmental departments to ensure that Waterford and Kilbarry is one of Ireland’s first affordable housing schemes to be delivered.

Whitebox Group continues to invest in the South-East and Waterford City region with these new affordable housing schemes following our previous agreement to provide 373 new family homes in Kilbarry with our construction partners David Flynn Construction and our award-winning design team.
All of the homes within these developments will be available for purchase under the Government’s Help-to-Buy Scheme. The current scheme is eligible up until 31 December 2022 with claimants able to receive compensation up to the value of €30,000 or 10% of the value of your new home.
Ireland has committed to delivering at least 33,000 new properties per year in Ireland until the year 2030 under the “Housing for All” with the state recognising the buyer’s right to access high-quality housing solutions at an affordable price.
